The Ironmen: 'Sweet 16' set to carry on proud tradition
They may be getting a little rusty around the edges but nothing stops the Ogden Ironmen from answering the bell for the Ogden Newspapers 20K Classic.The Ironmen, of course, are the group of 16 runners who have run and finished every Wheeling distance race since the inaugural event in 1977.

But for the 29th edition of the Ogden Newspapers 20K Classic, race director Howard Corcoran and his fellow committee members decided to add a team element to the race.
Team concept fuels Ogden race committee
The Ogden Newspapers 20K Classic’s Hall of Fame membership will swell to 21 Saturday following official induction ceremonies at WesBanco Arena for 10 of the race’s long-time participants plus the City of Wheeling, which is being honored for its support and contributions to the success of this event.
Ogden 5K has experienced rapid growth
Very flat, scenic and highly-competitive are among the best ways to describe the course for the 5K Run and Walk division of this year’s Ogden Newspapers Classic.
